Delete your Playbook account

You can ask us to delete your Playbook account and the personal data connected to it at any time. You don't need the app installed.

1How to delete your account

  1. Email support@venueintel.com with the subject line Delete my Playbook data.
  2. Include the mobile number you use to sign in, and your name. If you sign in to the Playbook web console, send the email from the email address on your account.
  3. We confirm the request with you before deleting anything, so no one can delete another person's account. If you use the mobile app, we send a text to your mobile number; reply to it to confirm. If you sign in to the web console, reply to our email. If you replied STOP to a Playbook text earlier, text START to the same number first so our confirmation can reach you.
  4. We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you when it's done.

2What we delete

  • Your sign-in details: your mobile number, name and email address.
  • Your signed-in sessions on every phone and browser.
  • Your place on every event roster, in every organization.

3What may be kept

  • Content you posted to events. Photos, documents, broadcasts and Activity Log entries you posted belong to the event record of the organization that ran the event. They are kept or deleted under that organization's own retention rules. To ask about them, contact the organization, or email us and we'll pass your request on.
  • Text-message consent records. We keep the record of when your number agreed to receive Playbook texts for 4 years after the last message we sent you, as mobile carriers require, then delete it. It is used for nothing else.
  • Backups. Copies of deleted data may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days, then are permanently erased.

4For organizations

An Account Admin can remove a person from the organization's events in the Playbook console at any time. That removes their access to those events but is not a full account deletion; the person can request that here.
